Peter Moseley is a gravurist/printmaker specialising in the application of digital technology to nineteenth century techniques, including the early photographic processes of photogravure and cyanotype. Peter's images are camera captured, but realised through traditional printmaking disciplines. His use of intaglio inks (gravure) and bleached cyanotypes offers a restrained and muted palette that bears little relation to clinical, colour acutance of much computer based giclée printing.
Peter Moseley has developed an extensive and expressive portfolio of dancers and veiled and 'naked portraiture' from which his cyanotype series is taken. He is currently researching the application of digital technology to nineteenth century photographic processes.
Peter has exhibited at the London Print Studio, 'Gallery 1865' Kennington (solso show), the Penny Gallery at Kingston and the Landmark Art Centre.
