Proof Gallery is the website of seven emerging Artist/Printmakers, who bring a rich and exhilarating diversity to their work, with a strong commitment to print and its creative possibilities.

Vicky Langdon, Alice O'Neill, Peter Moseley, Glynis Porter, Marcus Irwin Ros Morley and Lynn Hatzius combine sophisticated technical processes, both traditional and experimental, to create innovative work. All seven are graduates of the MA programme from the University of Brighton and the LondonPrintStudio.

At a time when artists are returning to old techniques as well as exploring new technology and combining both in new and experimental ways, printmaking is now one of the most exciting areas of development in Art.

The unique element of an artist's print, as made by an artist, is that there is no 'original' painting or image from which the copies are taken, the prints themselves are the originals.

This partnership effects a powerful merging of concept and creativity with technical knowledge and skill.

This website of contemporary artists continues the rich seam of exciting work still pushing the boundaries of printmaking, and provides the oppurtunity for individuals to purchase original works that bear the direct hand of the artist and are avilable in affordable limited editions.
